Get to know Jen

Here are a few fun facts to help you get to know Jen better:

Q – What was your first job?

A – Working at registration and book return at my high school back in the day. “Fondly” remember when a classmate wasn’t thrilled with his fine at the end of the year and paid around $10 in pennies. Guess who had to count them?

Q – What’s a strange talent that you have?

A – I can write upside down and backwards. And if you turn it over and look in a mirror, it looks exactly like my normal handwriting. Can you tell I’m a lefty?

Q – If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

A – Without a doubt time control. Imagine how great it would be to have all those extra minutes when you or someone you love needs them!

Q – What’s your favorite television show?

A – I don’t watch much television, it’s more on for background noise if anything. But since my son is a Navy vet, I’ll say NCIS is a popular one to binge, um, hear?

Q – What did you want to be when you grew up?

A – A marketer, believe it or not! I used to come up with commercials to sell my toys (which I conveniently packaged in eclectic sets to increase interest and revenues.

Q — What’s your favorite thing to do when not at work?

A – Enjoy my family and my dog. Sometimes even the cat.

A – Wake up, get ready for my day and get on the computer quickly to tell a friend to have a great day. But my goal is to get up an hour earlier and get back into working out at least 3 days a week. Miss that!

Q – What’s your favorite book for business?

A – Philip Kotler’s “Marketing Management”, a gold standard in my opinion.

Q – What’s your favorite book for fun reading?

A –  “The Firm” by John Grisham. If I wasn’t a marketer,I’d be a lawyer. But maybe not at Mitch McDeere’s firm.

Q – What’s your favorite quote?

A – “Even a stopped clock is right twice a day” — Joseph Addison. It was one of my mom’s favorites, too.

Q – What’s the best piece of advice that you’ve ever received?

A – Make sure the people you love know you love them. Tomorrow is never guaranteed.
